Micro Communications (MCI) supplies rigid waveguide from WR90 to WR2300+. All rigid waveguides are available in full and half height to meet your application. All MCi waveguides are available in 1/8″ and 1/4″ wall thickness with custom sized flange options. MCi rigid waveguides and flanges meet or exceed EIA and MIL standards.
Our material options range from Aluminum, to Copper and Brass. MCi can provide various paint and finish options. Likewise, we have the capability to construct rigid waveguides and associated components suitable for pressurized or unpressurized applications. Custom sizes up to WR6200 are also available upon special request. If you should require custom sizes or configurations, please contact our sales team at sales@microwavetechniques.com.

Rigid Waveguide: Design & Welding Process
MCi offers two welding processes for rigid waveguides larger than WR650. The first option is full four corner welding for highest quality, optimum performance and mechanical stability. The second is an economical, two seam welded process. In either process, MCi uses precision fixtures to control twists along the longitude axis better than 1 degree per foot, and less than 1/2 degree overall. The tolerance on flange flatness is less than 0.01 per inch, and less than .0010 overall.
- Standard and custom rigid waveguide lines and assemblies ranging in sizes from WR90 to WR2300+
- Any standard or custom flange
- Full height or reduced height
- Wide variety of metals, finishes, seals, and wall thicknesses
- Can be made pressure-tight with a variety of gasket and crush-seal systems
- Water-cooled option available
MCI: A Microwave Techniques Company
Micro Communications, A Microwave Techniques Company, has the widest line of rigid waveguide and associated microwave components in the high-power RF marketplace. In 2014, MCi was acquired by Mega Industries. In 2020, the Microwave Techniques group formed as a result of the merger between Mega Industries and Ferrite Microwave Technologies.
