MCi, Mega and Ferrite Become Microwave Techniques

Micro Communications (MCi), Mega Industries and Ferrite Microwave Technologies merge to become Microwave Techniques, LLC. The group also includes the FXR dummy load product line, formerly a part of MicroLab. As a result of the merger, the group becomes the global leader in high-power microwave components and industrial microwave systems.

Microwave Techniques

The combination of MCi, Ferrite (FMT), Mega and the FXR load product line offers customers around the world a single source to support their most demanding high-power microwave, RF and broadcast component requirements.

The Microwave Techniques group manufactures a wide line of high-power RF components and microwave systems.

The component offerings include circulators, isolators, loads, pressure windows, couplers, phase shifters, high-power coaxial components flexible waveguides and beyond. The Microwave Techniques component offerings is a portfolio of the legacy products from MCi, Mega Industries and Ferrite Microwave Technologies.

Microwave Techniques LLC

The system offerings include Ferrite Microwave Technologies complete line of tempering, drying and heating systems. In addition, Ferrite offers a line of microwave generators and spare parts to support their industrial microwave system line – from magnetron tubes to simple replacement parts. The microwave systems are a Ferrite legacy product line. In addition, MCi and Mega supported numerous clients in the industrial microwave sector for many years prior to the merger.

The synergy of the combined organization reflects the renowned legacy of each brand and product line from MCi, Mega, Ferrite and the FXR loads.

Microwave Techniques, LLC is a Holding Company and Global Leader in High Power Microwave Solutions originally acquired in 1991 and now reinstituted with the 2020 merger of Mega Industries and Ferrite Microwave Technologies (FMT). The group also includes Broadcast Microwave supplier Micro Communications (MCI) and the FXR Microwave dummy load products which were formerly part of MicroLab.
