Micro Communications (MCi) designs and manufactures a wide variety of phase shifters for both coaxial and waveguide applications for all power levels. They may be manually actuated or equipped with AC or stepper motors with electronic position / phase indication.
MCi: A Microwave Techniques Company
As a Microwave Techniques company, MCi supports the legacy product lines of Ferrite Microwave Technologies and Mega Industries. For more information about microwave components, such as waveguide & coaxial phase shifters, we welcome you to visit our partners at Mega Industries. Mega offers components in both coaxial, waveguide and UHV configurations.
Waveguide Phase Shifters
Mega manufactures phase shifters in sizes ranging from WR90 to WR2300. Their designs include manual, motorized and 3-probe phase shifters. For ultra-high power settings, Mega utilizes the short-slot hybrid design. To ensure long-term reliability, Mega utilizes non-contacting, double bucket shorting assemblies that are mounted on Teflon runners. Additionally, maximum power transfer is assured for manual and motorized units. Mega Industries designs display an insertion loss characteristic of less than 0.05 dB.
Coaxial Phase Shifters
Mega also develops coaxial phase shifters in a variety of coaxial sizes form 7/8″ to 12″ or larger. Their manual and motorized designs allow for mechanical travels of 8 to 60 inches. The Mega design is a constant impedance, with low insertion loss, low VSWR, and virtually no WOW.
