MCi manufactures a wide range of coaxial elbows for high-power microwave applications and round RF coaxial microwave transmission lines. Our rigid coaxial elbows utilize are available in various material configurations. Typically, we offer copper tubing with brass flanges or aluminum tubing with aluminum flanges. Finish options vary with natural, chemical conversion or paint. Typical coaxial elbows size ranges from 7/8″ to 12″ or greater.
Rigid Coaxial Elbows: Design & Options
For designs and options, Micro Communications utilizes Teflon support insulators to ensure maximum peak and average power handling. MCi rigid coaxial elbow angles can be 90° equal or unequal leg, as well as 45° equal or unequal leg. Leg lengths are specified at time of quote or order. For connectors we offer a standard anchor or a high-power anchor. In terms of flanges, we typically offer a swivel flange. However, desired flange type may be specified for custom interfaces. Please see the table below for standard coaxial elbow size and leg lengths.
COAXIAL ELBOW SIZE | STANDARD EQUAL LEG | STANDARD UNEQUAL LEG |
---|---|---|
7/8″ | 3 x 3 | 3 x 6 |
1 – 5/8″ | 3 x 3 | 3 x 6 |
3 – 1/8″ | 6 x 6 | 6 x 9 |
4 – 1/16″ | 6 x 6 | 6 x 12 |
